Special Education
Kellyville Schools is committed to providing a quality education for all students - including students with disabilities. Kellyville Schools has a comprehensive program in place to ensure that students with disabilities are identified early and receive the educational services that they require as specified under the Individuals With Disability Act of 1997 (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Kellyville Schools is committed to adhering to all facets of the policies set forth in IDEA, Section 504 and those of the Oklahoma Department of Education in order to provide a quality, free education to all students with disabilities. In addition, Kellyville Schools utilizes the methodologies as defined in the Child Find component of IDEA in order to identify special needs students as early as possible.
Kellyville (in partnership with the Five Star Interlocal Cooperative) provides services in the following areas:
- Autism
- Mental Retardation
- Hearing Impairment
- Visual Impairment
- Multiple Disabilities
- Orthopedic Impairment
- Emotional Disturbance
